FUSE is making news. Automotive News reporter Jackie Charniga spoke with FUSE’s Andrew Walser about the beginning of FUSE in 2012 and the journey to perfecting the finance platform and offering it to other dealers. Sales teams using FUSE can complete a transaction from “yes” to signatures in as little as 30 minutes. Walser has transacted over 375,000 vehicle sales using the platform.
Walser highlighted the importance of protecting dealer reserve and facilitating the sale of F& I products and vehicle accessories. The software scans automotive lenders to find the lowest monthly payment for the customer that delivers that highest dealer reserve.
“It was built from the dealership out, not the Internet in,” Walser told Automotive News. “We’re living in the same software — the customer, the employees and the management team — whether it’s online or in store.”
